Itinerary
Five days built around the golden hours — dawn and dusk game drives, with time to rest and review your images at midday.
Depart Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National Park (about 4–5 hours). Afternoon photography drive as the light softens over the swamps and Kilimanjaro comes into view. Overnight in Amboseli.
A dawn drive for elephants against Kilimanjaro, then out to the swamps for herds, hippos and waterbirds. Optional walk up Observation Hill for the wide view, and a golden-hour drive before dinner.
A final morning drive in Amboseli, then on to Tsavo West. Afternoon at Mzima Springs and the Shetani lava flow, with a game drive through the volcanic landscape.
Cross to Tsavo East, home of the famous red-dusted elephants. Afternoon drive along the Galana River and towards the Yatta Plateau for wide, open-country images.
An early-morning photography drive, then breakfast and the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
